One Month Old

Adalyn was ONE MONTH OLD on Saturday, 5/28. It's unbelievable, I just don't know where the last month went. Some days it feels like I was just coming home from the hospital and other days it seems as though Adalyn has been part of our life forever. We did take some pictures on Saturday and Sunday to capture how much Adalyn has grown in a month! Here are a few of my favorites. Which one is your favorite?

We had a great weekend! Greg, Adalyn and I were able to spend all weekend together, which was really special. Greg even had off work for Memorial Day! Saturday we not only celebrated Adalyn's first month of life, but also our niece's first birthday. Blaire turned one year old on May 25! It's so fun to think that Blaire and Adalyn will be able to play together next year at this time - yay for cousins! We ended the weekend enjoying seafood at my parent's house. On Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor day they often have get clams, shrimp and tuna. It was delicious!

I think my NEXT post will be Adalyn's birth story, unless something else pops in my head before then. Oh and correction on my last post, it says that I posted it on May 16, but that's actually the date that I started the post...I just finished it last Tuesday. I need to figure out how to fix that...I'll add it to the list! And I started this post on 5/31, but am posting it today, 6/4. I'm thoroughly confused but will figure it out.

Adalyn Faith

Miss Adalyn Faith Turner was born nearly a month ago! I know it's taken me a while to actually get on here and blog, but I promise to keep you as updated as possible over the next few weeks and months. I'm setting low goals these days because my priority is Adalyn, but I would like to blog at least once a month. Those posts will likely include a monthly picture to document her growth, so stay tuned!

Oh another thing, I'm not technologically savvy at all (actually I just get too distracted to focus on it) so trying to make my blog pretty is a work in progress. Bear with me! I told you I'd share some pregnancy pictures...so here they are. In no particular order...

These are only a few snapshots we took over the course of 40 weeks, but now that she's here I don't think posting pics of Adalyn in my belly is nearly as fun as posting pics of her out of the womb! We'll see, maybe on a rainy day, but for now you'll get to see lots of pictures of HER! Can't wait to share. Coming soon...I'll share with you about the day Adalyn was born. It was one of the BEST days of my life and I'm anxious to write down the details and share them with you. Just to give you a little sneak peak of what's to come, here's a picture that Greg snapped of me while I was in labor. It's so fun to look back on these and smile. For those of you who are thinking, seriously you took a picture while you were in labor? Yes, we did haha. Excited to share soon!
